When I was growing up in Vacherie, everybody ate a lil brown field pea we called fevre. Somebody told me that it was a fevre la frappe which would be a whip pea, because the pods are real long and skinny.

Anyway, I would like to grow some of these but can't find any seeds because I don't know what they are officially called, or who would carry them.

If they have a feed store in y'all area that has them let me know.

I know the communities around the Thibodaux area would have had these over the last 40 years. Chackbay and down the bayou etc.
