Saw this site and couldn't look at any of the postings as they were locked so I became a member to see what the site was all about. I'm originally from Marksville or rather Brouillette and currently live in Minnesota. I'm a long way from home, trying to learn Cajun french since the language makes me feel closer to home. You talk about homesick! eh sha, da people here are different and not so friendly. It's like a foreign country and I'd know because I've lived in a few of those as well.
